Interview with Mr. Orlin Kouzov, CEO of ICT Development Agency, Aired March 31, 2004 in the bTV Central News Emission
Journalist:
As of today we can find very fast the internet sites that we are interested in without writing their long, complicated addresses in Latin. It will be enough just to write the word in Bulgarian language and it will take the user to the site that he needs. This is possible because of the new service called ¡°Bulgarian Language Internet Address¡±, which was presented today for the first time.
The new service will make it possible for many Bulgarians to reach online different institutions, companies and organizations easily.
Mr. Kouzov
People will not write anymore complicated symbols with dots, dashes and numbers ? they will write simple symbols and names ? for example they can write ¡°government¡± and they will be directly taken to the site of the government.
Journalist:
Later there will be more possibilities for shopping and exchange of information online again using Cyrillic alphabet.
Mr. Kouzov
Using Cyrillic names will increase the use of internet itself in which Bulgaria is a little bit behind. The service will be absolutely charge free for institutions, schools and non-governmental organizations.
Journalist:
For all the other users the price of the service will be reasonable and will be in conformity with the life standard of our country.
For bTV news, Daniela Seizova.
